Do you ever find yourself repeating yourself and not feeling heard? Feel frustrated managing between what your child wants to be doing and what you know they need to be doing? Feel like your child just doesn’t understand how important certain things are...to you and to them?
Do you ever look at your child and feel like they are from another planet? They just experience life DIFFERENTLY than adults. In this course, you'll learn why.
Do you ever find yourself frustrated and unable to keep your child's attention when working through homework or doing a project together? This course will help you get and keep their attention.
Gain the foundation and tools you need for you and your children to:
- Be more successful
- Feel more satisfied
- Understand themselves better
- Understand what they learn better
Understanding how the different learning styles experience my classroom was one of the most powerful tools in my teacher toolbox. It supported me in creating a classroom where the children participate openly and when they leave...they don’t walk out like zombies but rather with some pep in their step. It means that in the midst of their learning...they had some fun, they felt connected to the class and the teacher, and they didn’t feel intense amounts of pressure. Do you think your child would do better in that kind of environment?
Now, you can create one of your own.
In this course you’ll learn:
- How to set up an environment that makes learning faster, easier, and feels fun.
- How to speak and teach your child in the way he/she best understands so you don't repeat yourself as much.
- How to manage your child’s need for physical movement and touch proactively so they are able to focus.
- How to balance your child’s social and academic needs.
Do you remember feeling shame as a child around your performance in school? Did it impact your willingness to try? Did you not go after something you really wanted because you didn’t want to look foolish?
One of our most profound human desires is to feel understood.
At the end of this course you will:
- Be aware of subtle hints your child gives which will help you understand what motivates them...and how you can motivate them better!
- Understand the phase of your child’s development and how this plays out in their communication, behavior, and education.
- Understand how to present information to your child, spouse, co-workers, etc. in the way they are most receptive to understanding...which decreases frustration for everyone.
- Understand your child’s social needs better and learn ways to set them up for success in school, life and in relationships.
With this new understanding you will experience:
- Decreased tension between you and your child.
- Your child will feel a greater sense of satisfaction and success having been supported in a way that truly serves them.
- An increase in trust between you and your child.
- A greater sense of flow as conflict decreases.
- You and your child will both experience a surge in confidence as you both feel safer and like FINALLY you are understood.
Understanding Learning Styles will also help you to:
- Help your child be more responsible for themselves
- Make group activities easier and more fun for the whole family
- Set up routines for success in extra-curricular activities
- Know the best way to share important information with each child so they understand
Understanding our learning styles and what our needs are to succeed gives us the confidence to show up bigger in our own lifes. When we know how to support ourselves, we are able to thrive even if our environment is less supportive. This isn’t just about how we learn, it’s about how we feel about ourselves.

Hi, I’m Keira Coates.
I created Soul Simple to empower parents in their children’s education and social and emotional development.
I was a preschool teacher and taught for a non-profit teaching social and emotional learning. I know how deeply parents crave to do the best job they can. Soul Simple is here to support busy parents who want to apply the same drive they have in their professional and personal lives to their parenting experience.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, USA. I got my masters at the world's top university for education, the Institute of Education at the University of London. I now split my time between my home state and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
